Alley Art Amazin'
Do you want to spruce up your alley-facing outbuilding or fence? Are you tired of having your alley walls graffitied?
Well, here's our solution--LOTA's new Alley Art Amazin' program!
Marissa Perry Saints, an Old Town resident and artist, created Lafayette's first official Alley Art on her garage door. Check it out in person at 205 W. Emma St.! Together, Marissa and John Weise, another Old Town resident, will be coordinating this program.

BASICS ABOUT ALLEY ART AMAZIN':
Who Makes the Art?

You do, with the guidance and support of LOTA, and particularly that of Alley Art Amazin' Artistic Director Marissa Saints.

Homeowners in Old Town Lafayette are eligible.
When?
-
April through September --you choose your own timing.
-
We'll be holding a gala alley art walk and party to show off the finished work on about October 1.
-
Participants will also receive plaques to commemorate their participation in this hip Lafayette project.
How?
-
We'll help you with ideas, including some visual references to help you get your creative juices flowing.

We'll also help you find paint and are looking into the possibilities of providing homeowners who participate with some financial support.
-
We may even be able to get you some volunteer help to complete your project.

Alley Art Amazin' project set to host Old Town Lafayette tour
One correction though - the self-guided tour of AAA will run from 10-12, starting at Cannon Mine Coffee on S. Public Rd.
Alley Art Amazin' Gathering and Self-Guided Tour - Saturday October 22 from 10 am to 12 noon, starting at Cannon Mine Coffee on S. Public Rd.
Come get a drink of your choice, meet the artists and homeowners, pick up a map of the AAA locations, and go on a self-guided tour!
